Kia Plant In Georgia Now Taking Reservations For New Public Tour Program

Kia plant in Georgia now taking reservations for new public tour program

The team at Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) began production on November 16, 2009. From this location, they launched the Sorento, Optima and exciting new 2020 Telluride. To thank the local community and to commemorate the 10th anniversary for KMMG, the plant will now be taking reservations for its new public tour program.

Having toured the plant myself earlier this year, I’d highly recommend it! The floors are incredibly clean and the shop well organized. If you have a teenager interested in seeing what it’s like to work in automotive, make time to take this tour, because it’s eye opening. About an hour outside of Atlanta, it’s a pretty drive to West Point, Georgia.

Tour times will be 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Requests can be made by calling the tour hotline and leaving a voicemail at 706-902-7771 or by sending an e-mail toKMMGPR@kmmgusa.com. You can also reach out by phone or e-mail for any questions.

Reservations are not final until confirmed by a member of the KMMG Team Relations team. The reservation window closes 24 hours prior to each tour. Space is limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
